A New Chapter for Sauber
The Sauber Formula 1 team has announced a two-year partnership with Stake, the leading crypto casino.
This collaboration highlights Formula 1’s growing interest in crypto-related sponsorships.
The Sauber team announced a two-year partnership with Stake, the leader of crypto casinos.
This agreement marks a turning point for the Swiss team, which was previously known as Alfa Romeo. It will now be named the Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber, reflecting this new strategic partnership.
The team will retain its current drivers, former Mercedes driver Valterri Bottas and F2 rising star Zhou Guanyu.
A Strategic Partnership for Stake
This partnership is also a significant step for Stake in the world of Formula 1. According to team representative Alessandro Alunni Bravi, this collaboration is a ‘natural and exciting progression for the brand’, which had already begun to get involved in Formula 1 during the previous season.
‘Last season represented the beginning of Stake’s adventure in Formula 1, and the brand’s new role as the headline sponsor of Stake F1 Team represents the next natural and exciting step on this path,’ said Alessandro Alunni Bravi, the representative of the F1 team.
Formula 1 has recently emerged as a favored platform for blockchain and cryptocurrency-related sponsorships. Several major brands, such as Tezos, OKX, Binance, OpenSea, and ByBit, have already established partnerships in this field. However, the recent bear market has seen some players withdraw.
