Breaking Down the Challenges of Inter-Chain Lending and How Soul is Unifying Liquidity

The inter-chain lending sector faces numerous challenges such as strong dependence on multiple protocols, fragmented liquidity between different applications and networks, as well as security issues related to bridges and synthetic assets.

Soul presents itself as a blockchain infrastructure that solves the dilemmas of cross-chain lending and unifies liquidity.

Soul: a greatly simplified user experience

Soul connects various lending protocols across different blockchain networks, allowing users to lend and borrow on platforms like Aave and Compound Finance without worrying about the blockchain choice, thus unifying liquidity and borrowing power.

Unlike other solutions, Soul does not rely on bridged or synthetic assets, but enables borrowing and lending of native assets through cross-chain communication using LayerZero technology. This omnichain approach offers almost unlimited DeFi strategies, positioning Soul as the ideal solution for cross-lending.

Initially, Soul will be deployed on EVM-compatible blockchains, carefully selecting the underlying protocols on which Soul is built, with the possibility of expanding and integrating new blockchains at any time, including non-EVM chains like Solana, Sui, or Aptos if necessary.

Soul allows users to optimize their yields by comparing APYs across chains and strategically allocating assets. The protocol leverages liquidity from multiple lending protocols, merging them into a unified ecosystem.

With its unique architecture, Soul acts not as a competitor but as a connector between different lending protocols. Its potential allows users to enjoy the same experience as using the underlying protocol while accessing inter-chain liquidity.

Soul: essential partners for a complete omnichain experience

At its launch, Soul already offers integration with DeFi protocols AAVE, Compound, and Morpho, as well as cross-chain messaging solutions Axelar, Chainlink CCIP, and LayerZero, each a leader in their field, to provide a blockchain-agnostic platform.

The official documentation and video trailer also mention Wormhole messaging solutions and Pi² Squared, a universal proof system that efficiently and correctly verifies the execution of any program in any programming language or virtual machine, using zero-knowledge proof technology.

Soul website: a picture is sometimes worth more than 1000 words

Soul has decided to publish an aesthetic and dynamic website to illustrate the functioning of its protocol. Inside, there are numerous elements to learn more about how it works.

The design of the site is designed to allow users to quickly find the necessary information and services. Images and graphics are strategically deployed to explain complex concepts and make the site visually appealing.

The Portal page redirects to the complete protocol documentation as well as an 8-minute video detailing the steps of a cross-chain and inter-protocol transaction for the more curious among you.

The decentralized application Soul is not yet accessible. We invite you to follow the @0xSoulProtocol account on Twitter (X) to stay informed and learn more about the project.
