A Recruitment Strategy in AI
In order to materialize this ambition, Tether has launched a recruitment campaign targeting top profiles in the AI sector. The company is actively seeking a head of AI research and development as well as an AI engineer, according to announcements posted on its website. These recruitments aim to strengthen the team responsible for developing open-source AI models.

The goal of this new unit is to push the boundaries of artificial intelligence while promoting accessibility to AI technologies that preserve privacy and are open to everyone. Paolo Ardoino, the CEO of Tether, has emphasized the intention to ‘redefine the frontiers of AI and democratize open AI technology that preserves privacy.’ Collaborating with other companies to integrate these models into products capable of addressing real challenges is at the heart of this initiative.
This approach is in line with Tether’s commitment to artificial intelligence, which began last year with an investment in Northern Data (NB2). This company, listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, has transitioned from cryptocurrency mining to providing computing power necessary for processing AI-related data.
