Qualify for the Mayan Finance Airdrop

In recent days, Solana airdrops have been making headlines in the airdrop universe. And now, our attention is drawn to a bridge that allows funds to be sent to Solana from an external network.

By interacting with the platform, you could potentially qualify for an airdrop from Mayan Finance when their token is launched. The fact that this bridge uses the Wormhole protocol will also contribute to this airdrop. If you want to learn more about the Wormhole airdrop, be sure to check out our dedicated guide.

Discover in this guide how to be eligible for the Mayan Finance airdrop.

Key Points about the Mayan Finance Airdrop

  • Project: Mayan Finance
  • Costs: Payable (Mainnet)

What is Mayan Finance?

Mayan Finance is a decentralized cross-chain swap platform that allows users to exchange tokens between different blockchains. It is built on the Wormhole protocol, which enables token transfers between different blockchains.

Mayan Finance raised $20 million in a series A funding round in October 2023. The round was led by Sequoia Capital India and saw the participation of Coinbase Ventures, Jump Capital, CoinFund, and other investors.

The funds raised will be used to develop Mayan Finance and expand its reach to new markets. The platform plans to launch new products and services, including a stablecoin protocol and a yield farming product.

How to Be Eligible for the Mayan Finance Airdrop

To interact with the Mayan Finance bridge, you will need to have a wallet that supports the Solana network and an Ethereum wallet. Here are several wallet options for each:

Solana:

Ethereum Wallet:

For this airdrop, the team has not yet provided any information regarding an airdrop. Therefore, the goal is to interact with everything that is offered on the platform. Currently, Mayan Swap supports swaps between Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche, Polygon, and Binance Smart Chain. The objective is to involve as many networks as possible.

1 – Bridge from Ethereum to Solana

As mentioned earlier, this bridge supports multiple EVM networks as well as Solana. We will start by sending funds from one of the EVM networks to Solana.

To do this, connect your Ethereum wallet and your Solana wallet to the Mayan Finance platform and select a source network other than Solana. In this example, we will use the Arbitrum network.

Choose Arbitrum as the source network and the $ETH token. In the destination box, select the Solana network and the $SOL token. Enter the amount you wish to exchange. Then click the “Swap” button and confirm the transaction.

The transaction may take several minutes, and you can track its progress on the Mayan Explorer.

Next, use the bridge with Solana as the source network and a different network than the one used previously, such as BSC. Take advantage of the low transaction fees on Solana during this step to interact with all the networks supported by this bridge.

2 – Bridge from one Ethereum network to another

You can also use the bridge to exchange tokens between Ethereum networks. This time, only connect your Ethereum wallet and select two Ethereum networks. Then perform your exchange in the same way as in the previous step.

3 – Perform an on-chain swap

The platform also offers the option to make simple swaps on all supported networks. To do this, select the network on which you want to make your exchange in both boxes, and then choose the tokens you want to exchange. Click “Swap” and confirm the transaction to finalize the exchange.

Important Details

In order to maximize your chances of qualifying for this potential airdrop, try to make multiple transactions while also generating volume on the platform, which can be one of the most important factors.

Being involved in the Mayan Finance Discord server can also be one of the conditions that will allow you to be rewarded with different roles. You can find the eligibility criteria for these roles on the Mayan Finance Guild space.
