Start in Block: The World’s Largest Startup Competition
One of the highlights of PBW is the Start in Block competition, which offers startups a unique opportunity to gain visibility, receive advice from renowned investors, and secure financing. With over $7 million in prizes and funding, this competition has attracted major players in the ecosystem, including Tim Draper, Lightspeed, CoinMarketCap, AWS, Morningstar, and Outlier Ventures.
Participants will pitch their startups to more than 300 VC firms, accelerators, DAOs, business angels, and industry leaders to convince them to support their projects. To enter the competition, companies must have raised less than $5 million in funding and be less than four years old.
The competition will start with an online selection of the top 100 startups, followed by the final 10 competing at PBW. The finalists will have the opportunity to present their projects to a jury of experts on-site. Four winners will then be selected.
