The Trump Coin Team Debunks Rumors About Dinner with Donald Trump
The team behind Trump Coin has firmly denied rumors circulating on social media that individuals would need to possess $300,000 worth of TRUMP tokens to attend a dinner with Donald Trump. On April 25, the official X account of the project clarified that there is no minimum amount required to participate in the event.
These speculations arose after members of the community analyzed a Solana explorer, which indicated that the 220th largest holder possessed over 33,000 TRUMP tokens valued at over $400,000. However, the Trump Coin team clarified that these data were misleading as they included locked tokens, exchange tokens, and market makers, who do not participate in the event.
A Specific Ranking to Determine Dinner Guests with Trump
On April 23, the Trump Coin team released an official ranking of eligible wallets for the dinner. This leaderboard, which excludes ineligible funds, is based on a weighted scoring mechanism over time: the longer an investor holds their tokens, the higher their score.
The selection process is not yet complete. Each candidate will have to undergo identity verification (KYC) and compliance checks. According to the project’s official website, this approach aims to reward loyalty rather than just financial capability.
More Accessible Eligibility Conditions Than Expected
Contrary to initial speculations, access to the dinner is not reserved for holders of several hundred thousand dollars’ worth of tokens. Currently, the 220th wallet in the ranking holds only 1,125 TRUMP tokens, with a value of around $15,000, and a weighted score of 136. Interestingly, some wallets with zero tokens currently remain eligible due to the past holding period of their assets.
So, are you planning to attend the TRUMP dinner?
