Solana has unveiled the “Actions” and “Blinks” features, allowing for crypto transactions through shareable links on any website, social media, or QR codes, thereby improving interoperability and user experience.

These features simplify on-chain interactions without changing pages or networks.

The initial implementation includes approved partners like Jupiter, Meteora, Sanctum, Helium, Backpack, and Phantom to ensure transaction security.

Users can buy NFTs, tip, receive money, vote, stake, and trade directly from their feed on X (formerly Twitter).

ZKsync unveils “Elastic Chain” architecture as part of its roadmap

ZKsync has announced the introduction of the “Elastic Chain” architecture in its v3.0 roadmap, marking a transition towards an interoperable ecosystem of ZK chains.

The v24 update, key to this transformation, unifies multiple ZK chains to provide a seamless user experience without the need to switch between networks.

The network starts with ZKsync Era, the project’s flagship rollup, serving as the base layer of the elastic chain ecosystem.

Ultimately, more than 20 chains are expected to be operational on the mainnet by the end of 2024, developed with the ZK Stack software kit. Included among the projects are Lens Protocol, GRVT, QuarkID, PlayFi, Cronos zkEVM, Nodle, and others.

Tezos unveils roadmap for 2026 with Tezos X

Tezos has unveiled “Tezos X,” a set of technological upgrades aimed at improving the performance and interoperability of the blockchain.

The roadmap extends until 2026 and includes the creation of a separate “canonical rollup” for transaction execution, allowing for atomic transactions between smart contracts written in different languages. The Tezos mainnet will serve as the base layer for consensus and settlement.

This ambitious plan, inspired by Ethereum’s scaling efforts, aims to modernize Tezos by introducing Smart Rollups and a dedicated data availability layer, positioning Tezos as a key player in the smart contracts and modular blockchains space.

MegaETH receives support from Vitalik, Cobie, Joseph Lubin

MegaLabs has raised $20 million to develop MegaETH, a real-time blockchain, with the support of Vitalik Buterin, Joseph Lubin, Cobie, and other influential figures.

MegaETH aims to process 100,000 transactions per second with millisecond responsiveness through a heterogeneous architecture and a hyper-optimized EVM.

Inspired by Vitalik Buterin’s 2021 blog post, MegaETH positions itself as an innovative solution for Ethereum scaling. The funding, led by Dragonfly Capital, will enable the launch of a testnet in the coming months, marking a crucial step in improving transactional performance on Ethereum.
