Confusion Surrounding Crypto App ‘Trump Wallet’ and Trump Family’s Distancing

An application called “$TRUMP Wallet” is causing confusion in the crypto world: despite being widely associated with the former U.S. president, neither Donald Trump nor his family acknowledge the project. The Trump Organization’s communication team has formally denied any connection to this initiative.

Trump Wallet: An Application Crypto Without Clear Origin

Presented on a minimalist website, the application promises users to store and exchange digital assets. No roadmap, technical document, or details about its operation are available. The only certainty: a waiting list is open for the curious.

The origin of this wallet remains unclear, but one element catches attention. Jack Lu, CEO of the Magic Eden marketplace, confirmed the project’s existence in a post on X, confirming a collaboration between his platform and the site GetTrumpMemes.com, the origin of the Trump memecoin.

The Trump Family Takes Their Distance

Amidst the uproar, the Trump clan’s reaction was swift and decisive. “The Trump Organization knows nothing about this project,” declared a spokesperson. The same message came from Donald Trump Jr., who stated that his family had “no connection to this wallet” while announcing the upcoming launch of an official wallet for their World Liberty project.

In a context where the Trump name is increasingly used as a marketing lever in the crypto world, the family seems determined to draw a clear line between authorized projects and opportunistic initiatives.

Even Barron Trump, the youngest of the children, personally denied any connection to the project.
