An Airdrop with Over 600 Million Tokens

After the Celestia airdrop, Pyth Network is now attracting attention with its ‘inter-chain’ crypto airdrop. It involves a large-scale distribution of PYTH tokens across 27 blockchains (Solana, Aptos, Sui, Cosmos, etc.) and over 200 decentralized applications (dApps).

In total, this airdrop represents over 600 million PYTH tokens (6% of the total supply), and approximately 75,000 digital wallets will be eligible.

According to the recent announcement by Pyth Network, this airdrop aims to reward active members of the crypto community as a whole, including:

  • Users of certain DeFi applications
  • Members with a certain rank on Pyth Network’s Discord server
  • Users who have ‘received and held’ native NFTs from Pyth Network
  • Members who have contributed to the development of oracles on the network.

The goal of Pyth Network’s Retrospective Airdrop Program is to stimulate on-chain governance participation and to bring Pyth Network to a state of permissionless, decentralized, and autonomous network.”.
