Chiliz Hosts Blockchain Hackathon at Parc des Princes, Paris

Chiliz is organizing a blockchain hackathon at the Parc des Princes from July 11 to 13, 2025, with $150,000 in rewards for fan engagement-focused projects.

From code to tokens, and the iconic Parc des Princes as the playground: this is the challenge launched by Chiliz. From July 11 to 13, 2025, the well-known crypto startup in the sports world is hosting ‘Hacking Paris’, a grand-scale blockchain hackathon at the heart of PSG’s stadium. At stake: $150,000 in rewards and a global stage for developers ready to reinvent the fan experience.

Fan Tokens, AI, DeFi: Sports Enters a New Era

Participants will need to develop concrete applications on the Chiliz Chain, with a clear goal: to take fan engagement to the next level. Five key themes are in play, with prizes ranging from $22,000 to $50,000 depending on the categories.

At the top, a $50,000 reward awaits projects capable of pushing the utility of Fan Tokens beyond traditional uses. Other challenges aim to integrate AI into sports strategies, create fan-to-fan content platforms, or boost the DeFi metrics of the Chiliz ecosystem. Smooth integration with the Socios wallet is also a priority.

Two special prizes, ‘Fan Favorite’ and ‘Innovation Award’, will commend the boldest projects. And unlike a typical hackathon, the best teams will receive post-event support to turn their MVP into a real product.

A Global Tour Landing in Paris

This Parisian rendezvous marks the climax of a series of hackathons orchestrated by Chiliz around the world. After Brazil, Poland, and a series of online events related to Euro 2024, the ecosystem aims to bring together European talents around its sports-dedicated blockchain.

The winners of previous stages, including in Warsaw and during the online ‘Hacking Brazil’ hackathon, will be invited to Paris to participate in the flagship event, in a setting as emblematic as it is symbolic: that of a club that was the first to adopt Fan Tokens.

Sports Becomes a Playground for Technological Innovation

With over 70 Fan Tokens issued and adoption surpassing two million users, Chiliz aims to establish itself as the blockchain reference in the sports world. ‘Hacking Paris’ is not just a hackathon, it is a show of strength for an industry in full transformation, where fans become actors of a new decentralized model.
