The CEO of StarkWare Steps Down
Uri Kolodny, co-founder and CEO of StarkWare, recently announced his resignation from his position as CEO on social media, citing “vicious medical challenges at home.”
Despite stepping down, Kolodny will remain an active member of StarkWare’s board of directors, continuing to influence the company’s future.
“I will probably not be present here or on Telegram. My attention will be elsewhere. Take the time you promised yourself to spend with loved ones, spend it now,” Kolodny stated on Twitter.
In 2008, Kolodny, together with long-time partner Eli Ben-Sasson, launched StarkWare with the ambition of harnessing the STARK cryptographic system. Over the years, the company has achieved an impressive valuation of $8 billion and has developed technology based on STARK.
Eli Ben-Sasson, the New Leader of StarkWare
Eli Ben-Sasson, another co-founder of StarkWare and co-inventor of the STARK cryptographic proof used by the company, will take the helm as the new CEO. Under his leadership, StarkWare will continue to operate within the blockchain ecosystem, with a focus on developing its flagship products, StarkEx and Starknet.
In addition, Starknet is set to launch its native token, STRK, marking a significant milestone in the platform’s evolution.
