L’ETF ARKB of ARK 21Shares Records Record Outflows of $88 Million, Surpassing Grayscale for the First Time
On Tuesday, fund outflows from ARK 21Shares’ ETF surpassed those of Grayscale’s Bitcoin Trust for the first time. ARKB recorded outflows of $88 million, compared to $81 million for Grayscale’s GBTC.
Comparison with Grayscale and Market Impact
This event is significant as Grayscale previously held the record for the largest net outflows. Provisional data highlights this first for ARKB, which experienced its largest outflows since its launch in January, with a negative of $300,000 on Monday, signaling its first fund outflows. In comparison, Grayscale’s total outflows now exceed $15 billion, with continuous outflows since March 15.
BlackRock and Fidelity Holding Steady
Meanwhile, BlackRock’s IBIT and Fidelity’s FBTC led sector growth, with $150 million and $44 million in fund inflows, respectively, on this bloody day. Overall net inflows amounted to $40 million on Tuesday, compared to net outflows of $80 million on Monday.
Meanwhile, the price of Bitcoin remains relatively stable, holding just above $66,000, despite news of a 2,000 BTC deposit from the DOJ to Coinbase.
