Growing Adoption for These Layer 2 Solutions
These tokens play a key role in the governance of their respective networks, which actually utilize the technology called Optimistic Rollup.
Specifically, this technology allows for off-chain transactions (outside of Ethereum), providing a more cost-effective method for networks using it.
We can also highlight the significant growth for these layer 2 solutions. In fact, the Arbitrum and Optimism networks have recorded a notable increase in their activity. Specifically, the daily number of transactions on the Arbitrum network has increased from 670,000 to 926,000. At the same time, the main Optimism network has experienced a 20% increase in its daily transactions.
