Trump’s Crypto Dinner Debacle: Rotating Revelations and Federal Frenzy

The Disappointing Crypto Dinner Organized by Trump

Trump’s lackluster and confusing speech on crypto has been labeled as ‘bullshit,’ and the watches promised to VIPs were never delivered.

The event, which brought together the largest TRUMP token investors, is now under federal investigation for possible violations of anti-corruption laws.

A Participant at the TRUMP Dinner Shares His Experience

Millions spent on a gala dinner… and ‘trash can’ steak. The highly publicized dinner organized by Donald Trump for the biggest investors of the TRUMP memecoin turns into a joke. On the menu: a frozen aisle-worthy filet mignon, a half-hearted speech, and a political storm in the background.

‘The Worst Meal I’ve Ever Had at a Trump Golf Course’

Invited to the dinner after purchasing $300,000 worth of TRUMP tokens, TikToker Nicholas Pinto did not mince his words. ‘It was the worst meal I’ve ever had at a Trump golf course.’ The only saving grace according to him: ‘the bread and butter’.

The menu, seemingly fit for a presidential event, organic salad, duo of filet mignon/flounder, mashed potatoes, vegetables, and chocolate fondant, was dubbed ‘shitty food’ by Pinto, who even compared it to a ‘Walmart steak’. He left the room hungry, confident that a simple Big Mac or pizza would have been infinitely better.

A Hollow Speech, Missing Watches

But the disappointment didn’t stop at the plate. Trump’s speech, read without conviction, failed to convince the audience. ‘It was bullshit,’ Pinto told Fortune. In a confusing address, Trump mentioned the ‘special’ potential of crypto… while also admitting he knew nothing about it.

‘Who knows, right? It could be something special,’ he said, without bothering to stay and greet his guests. Worse still, the watches promised to VIP holders were never handed out.

A Multi-Million Dollar Evening Under Federal Investigation

The controversy grows. Each guest was among the 220 largest holders of the TRUMP token, with some reportedly coming from abroad. This situation prompted 35 Democratic lawmakers to demand an investigation by the Department of Justice.

They suspect the former president of violating American anti-corruption laws and the emoluments clause of the Constitution, which prohibits a president from receiving gifts from foreign states without congressional approval.
