Bitcoin has surpassed $111,000, with a daily volume of $7.64 billion and 609 million net entries on ETFs in a single day.
BlackRock dominates the market with $530 million in its IBIT ETF, while the 12 American ETFs cumulatively have $43.38 billion in assets under management.
The flows are fueled by massive institutional demand, driven by a long-term vision and a favorable macro context, triggering a bullish spiral.
Bitcoin Surpasses $111,000 with Hot ETFs
Bitcoin has hit a new all-time high above $111,000, and institutional capital is flowing in abundance. On Wednesday, American Bitcoin Spot ETFs recorded 609 million dollars in net inflows, their sixth consecutive day of positive flows. In the wake of this rally, volumes are soaring: $7.64 billion exchanged in a single day.
BlackRock Tramples Competition
BlackRock’s IBIT sweeps the board, attracting over $530 million alone. Fidelity, Bitwise, and Grayscale follow with inflows exceeding 20 million each. All major players are involved: VanEck, Ark & 21Shares, Valkyrie… No one wants to miss the train.
These figures bring net inflows for May to over $4.2 billion. In total, the 12 Bitcoin ETFs listed in the United States now total $43.38 billion in captured capital. An institutional dynamic never seen before.
A New Generation Demand for Bitcoin
“This demand is on a whole new level“, says Caroline Bowler, CEO of BTC Markets. According to her, this new enthusiasm is explained by a more robust institutional infrastructure and enhanced regulatory clarity. Investors now act with a long-term portfolio logic, akin to traditional funds.
The analysis is shared by Jupiter Zheng, partner at HashKey Capital. He emphasizes that macroeconomic and geopolitical conditions are now entering into Bitcoin valuation models. In other words: investors are taking positions with an expanded view, but expect significant future volatility.
A Market Enters Uncharted Territory
The crossing of $108,000 triggered a new phase of the cycle. At $111,000, Bitcoin is now evolving in virgin territory, driven by an almost 100% institutional dynamic. The gears are in motion: the higher the price goes, the stronger the flows, creating a remarkably effective bullish spiral.
