OKX Expands Support for New Token Standards, Plans to Launch Marketplace
The OKX exchange platform has recently announced its support for four new token standards: Atomicals, Doginals, Stamps, and Runes. This initiative marks a first in the market, with integration planned for the OKX wallet and marketplace by the end of February. The surge in activity around these tokens has motivated OKX to develop tools for buying, selling, and viewing them without fees.
Introducing Inscriptions on OKX
The OKX exchange platform has recently announced its support for four new token standards: Atomicals, Doginals, Stamps, and Runes. The Asian giant also plans to launch its own marketplace in the near future.
This integration, scheduled for the end of February, will allow OKX wallet users to view and transfer inscriptions according to the Bitcoin SRC-20 standard (Stamps), as well as support the ARC-20 (Atomicals), DRC-20 (Doginals), and Runes standards. The OKX marketplace will offer the option to buy and sell these inscriptions without fees.
A Major Craze Surrounding Inscriptions
In recent months, the craze for inscriptions has gained momentum, particularly among OKX’s Asian users, resulting in a significant increase in activity. Jason Lau, the Director of Innovation at OKX, sees this trend as a key driver behind the development of dedicated products (wallet, marketplace, etc.) for these new token standards. With the launch of these tools, OKX has seen a skyrocketing number of users, going from a few hundred to over 100,000.
This initiative reflects OKX’s commitment to staying at the forefront of web3 innovation by providing its users with the necessary tools to navigate the entire web3 ecosystem.
